National Railway Museum

A selection of photographs taken when I visited the National Railway Museum, when they hosted an event to celebrate/commiserate the end of BR main line steam. The narrow gauge demonstration line was in operation with the last engine to be built for commercial uses in the UK, No. 4 Trangkill. The standard gauge demonstration line was also in operation with 1210 Sir Berkeley, built in 1891 running.
